Biography
Dr. Innis obtained his MD and PhD degrees from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He then completed his residency training in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Molecular and Human Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine. He was a member of the University of Michigan faculty for 30 years in the Departments of Human Genetics and Pediatrics, and contributed to many clinical genetics, research, and education missions. He is a highly respected and passionate physician who cares for patients with a wide spectrum of inherited conditions and greatly enjoys bringing the rapidly emerging benefits of genetics to the care of children.

The care was great. Dr innis was a very good. Listener. He was patient and kind. He explained things in a way I was able to understand. He even used to help with understanding what he was explaining

Everyone we encountered was so nice. The nurse explained that there was a student in the room as well instead of leaving us wondering who she was. We were introduced to everyone involved in our appointment. That’s a very nice touch.
