Pediatric ophthalmologists have a special way with kids, talking and relating to them so they understand vision problems and feel comfortable during eye exams. Our specialists perform eye exams and surgery as well as care for eye injuries.

Early diagnosis and treatment is important to prevent eye diseases and vision disorders from progressing and severely hindering your child's eyesight. They can treat a range of conditions, including:

  • Amblyopia (“lazy eye”)
  • Retinopathy of prematurity (often called ROP or Terry syndrome)

    Dr. RHEE INFORMATION WAS WELL PUT TOGETHER AND DETAIL. I LOVE THE WAY HE INTERACTED WITH MY CHILD. THE NURSE THAT DID ALL THE EXAMS BEFORE DR RHEE, SHE WAS ALSO AMAZING WITH MY CHILD.

    Dr. Rhee (and the entire staff) were friendly, efficient, and thorough. I have never been to a practice where EVERY single staff member was kind and smiling. I felt comfortable and satisfied with the care my son received. Thank you to Dr. Rhee for making us fe el heard and for sharing all of his medical information with us. I appreciate him taking the time to relate to my teen while still including me in the discussion.
